The latest statistics for teen vaping are staggering. More than one in five high schoolers and one in 20 middle schoolers reported that they had vaped within the past month. Is it time to learn the facts and talk to your child about vaping?

The CDC just released the results of the 2019 Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS), which showed a powerful reminder of the severity of the youth e-cigarette epidemic. The YRBS found that 32.7% of U.S. high school students were current e-cigarette users in 2019, up from 13.2% in 2017 and that a large percentage of those youth are heavily addicted. The evidence is clear that flavored e-cigarettes have fueled this epidemic – 97% of youth e-cigarette users report using a flavored product in the past month, and 70% cite flavors as the reason for their use.
